Michael Leventhal - WiredLaw
Michael Leventhal is a high technology, entertainment, intellectual property and new media attorney.
Leventhal's new media practice consists of representing various media clients from multinational media companies and media industry executives, to start-ups in all aspects of the industry.
His current and past clients have included: News Corporation, Fox, Pop.com, Nirvana, Concrete Blonde, Hole, Cypress Hill and Beavis and Butthead's creator Mike Judge on the creative side, to Gold Mountain Management, New Line Cinema, and Mammoth Records. He has represented a wide array of entertainment and technology companies, TV and film production companies, authors, television media placement firms, music producers, screenwriters, actors, musicians, artist managers; concert promoters, directors and record labels.
From UCLA, Leventhal went on to Loyola Law School, set up practice in Beverly Hills, California and has practiced entertainment law since 1985. Leventhal is a founding member of Interactive Television Association and a member of the Ethical Standards and Practices Initiative, which provided guidelines for the transaction of business between Internet professionals.
